Those 2 comics are great Crossfire! Made me laugh out loud, especially the first one, which is pretty much how a conversation with my girlfriend is when she remembers it is D&D night 
And don't worry about them being "too" inside, they seem like stereotyped (in a good way!) moments that every gamer has either been in, or heard from other players, and that we all love bringing up time and time again.
Keep them coming, and post up some linkage if you decide to go with it!
