I actually used to be on a sport's team that we decided to name "The Chupacabras". It was all after that fateful X-Files episode.

I remember that episode. It was set in my home town of Fresno (by way of Vancouver, of course).

Be it Halloween or not, I think the Chupacabra should be the Dragons Landing mascot, and as such should be mentioned (along with sound effect) at least once per episode. :-)

Or alternatively:

Él chupa cabras -> el chupacabras
"He sucks goats" -> "the goat-sucker"

Hmmmm....If the Chpucabra was our mascot, would that mean that this podcast "sucks goats?"

I'm not sure I like the connotation here.... :)

It could be the Dragon's Landing version of Mike and Evo's dragon, to which they feed stuff.....

"Does it annoy you? Feed it to..... El Chupacabra!

P.S. You can't just say Chupacabra. It's wrong. You have to include the scared goat sound. So I propose we call it the "Chupacabra (beeeh)"

A few years ago I had a customer come into the shop wanting me to print chupacabra t-shirts that he could sell to the immigrant population around here. He thought it was a millio dollar idea. We thought 'what the hell?!?' But I know how ddictive it is to say chupacabra, chupacabra over and over.
Anyway, great idea for a mascot.
